1pm Winter Storm Update Dec. 2, 2019

A Winter Storm Warning is still Effect For Bucks County. Heavy snow is moving across parts of New Jersey at this time. As you can see with the graphic above. Areas within the RED CIRCLE, should be alert for snowfall rates around 1″/hour this evening. If you are South or West of the dotted yellow line, you will not see much snow. Philadelphia, Medford and points Northeast will see snow mostly this evening. At this point we are not changing our forecasted call. We will update as needed.

Daily Forecast Monday December 2, 2019.

A Winter Storm Warning is In Effect until 4am. Snowfall rates of 1-2″ are possible this afternoon.

Monday: Snow. High near 37 Total daytime snow accumulation of 2 to 4 inches possible.

Monday Night Snow, mainly before 1am. Low around 30. New snow accumulation of 1 to 2 inches possible.

WINTER STORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 4 AM EST TUESDAY…

* WHAT…Heavy snow expected. Accumulations of 5 to 8 inches.

* WHERE…The Lehigh Valley and Bucks County in Pennsylvania. The New Jersey counties of Hunterdon, Somerset and Mercer.

* WHEN…Until 4:00 AM Tuesday.

* IMPACTS…Travel will become difficult. Hazardous conditions will impact the evening commute.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…Snow will become heavy at times this afternoon and evening. Snowfall amounts are forecast to vary across the area, but they should generally be in the 5 to 8 inch range.
