As the salting, shoveling and digging out begin. Allow time for PennDot to clear the state roads. Local DPW crews did a great job getting main roads cleared, now it’s just time for them to retreat and complete the backroads.
As for how much snow fell across the area. Anywhere from 6-9″ fell along i95. Philadelphia airport received 6.5″ of snow (make yesterday the biggest storm we have had since March 2018).
Our final snow map released Tuesday evening is below with our final call, and in the white text is snowfall amounts reported to the National Weather Service. A general 3-12″ fell across most of the area with some locations in the Poconos had reports of over 16″ of snowfall.
