FLOOD WATCH IN EFFECT FROM 9 PM EST THIS EVENING THROUGH SATURDAY MORNING…

The National Weather Service in Mount Holly has issued a

* Flood Watch for portions of New Jersey and southeast Pennsylvania, including the following areas, in New Jersey, Hunterdon, Mercer, Morris, and Somerset. In southeast Pennsylvania, Lower Bucks and Upper Bucks.

* From 9 PM EST this evening through Saturday morning

* Periods of heavy rain can be expected overnight. Amounts up to two inches are possible. This could lead to small stream as well as main-stem flooding. Poor drainage and low-lying flooding is likely.

* The risk of low-lying and small stream flooding will increase tonight into Saturday. The risk of main-stem flooding will increase late Saturday into Saturday night. Please refer to our Advanced Hydrologic Prediction Service (AHPS) website for both Passaic and Raritan Basin crest forecasts.
