As the new year begins, we are tracking snow around Jan 6 and the 9-12th timeframe. Whole at this point nothing is set and this is not a forecast. We want to start getting the word out that the threat is growing.
Major cities like Chicago, Boston, New York City, Philadelphia, Washington, D.C., Charlotte, and Atlanta have been advised to prepare for a significant snowstorm during that period which will come at same time as an arctic blast.
Also a major arctic blast will sweep the nation with more than 30 states seeing some of the coldest temperatures they have seen in years. The next few weeks could be brutal. Below are some of the latest weather models for the next week. Again not a forecast but we are keeping a close eye on these storm potentials and cold blast that is coming our way!
